So, it should be working fine but isn't, I've googled it and double checked settings and two of the other things suggested but nothing is working and I can't for the life of me figure out what happened. The app is up to date with the latest version, all the settings are correct in both my phone (Samsung S6 Edge+) as well as the Skype app.
Nothing has changed in my settings, one minute I was receiving notifications and the next I wasn't.
The only way I know if someone has messaged me is if I open up the app to check.
As of this Monday, I'm no longer receiving message notifications from the app.
